South River Library Fun

On Your Mark, Get Set, Go!
Monday, January 25 from 7:00pm to 7:45pm
How fast and far can you go? Children will make predictions about how far they can reach in a set amount of time by jumping, rolling, forward and backward. Kids will use measuring skills to track how far each particpant moved, will use the second hand and stop watches to count time, and try to make and break a library record. Depending on the number of participants, kids may be divided into groups. Ages 6-9

Fair Share
Thursday, January 28th from 4:00pm to 4:45pm
Based on the book The Doorbell Rang, kids will devise ways to be fair when they share. Techniques will come in handy when sharing cookies with friends, choosing baseball teams, and much more. Ages 4-7

Triple T (Time for Twos and Threes)
Saturday, January 30 from 1:00pm to 1:45pm
A story and activity program especially for two and three year olds. Siblings welcome. This Saturday program is a great option for busy families or children who attend daycare during the week.
