Babies, books, bouncing, bottles, binkies, and bibs. All are welcome at the South River Library. Ages 1-15 months with caregiver. Join us the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month at 12:30 p.m. Crying and feeding allowed, Cooing and clapping encouraged Each session will feature: An introductory song, chant, or rhyme A developmentally appropriate activity suggestion A parenting tip or resource End with a closing song, chant, or rhyme plus Free time to socialize and network with other parents.
Toddler Time
Thursday, November 5th 11:00am-11:45am
Join us for Toddler Time. The program is geared for young children ages 18 -36 months with parent or caregiver. Fingerplays, simple stories, songs, games and creative play encourage children to develop language, social skills, and simply enjoy reading, learning and playing. The program is held year-round the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month at 11:00 a.m.
Create and Read, Books and Beads
Friday, November 6th 3:45pm-4:30pm
Children in grades 1-5 are welcome to attend a craft session. Projects may include bookmarks, friendship bracelets, pop-up cards, or simple origami. In addition, kids are asked to donate children's books that are in good condition to be given to homeless children in the Homefront NJ program. Project is part of Claire Miller's Girl Scout Gold Award.
