On the outskirts of school grounds, sits a building named Doolittle, which contains a hidden underground laboratory. And as the story goes, Doolittle is watched by a ferocious guard determined to protect its mysteries forever. Join us as we learn about the concept of matter, its three states (solid, liquid, and gas), and how to change matter from one state to another by telling the tale of Doolittle as we discover the secrets of this hidden laboratory, perform narrow escapes, witness surprising discoveries, and reveal an unbelievable ending. With screaming quarters, jets of gas to taste, popping potions, incredible showers of smoke-filled bubbles, and buckets of fog, discover how all of this is created by the two “coolest” things in the world...Dry Ice and Imagination! This program is offered through our Libraries and Autsim grant and is geared and open to participants with special needs AND the general public. http://www.piccirillo.org
