Lincoln's 200th Birthday

ABRAHAM LINCOLN CELEBRATES 200TH BIRTHDAY!

Saturday, February 28th at 1:30 p.m.

President Abraham Lincoln arrives to celebrate his 200th birthday at the Old Bridge Public Library.

Actor/Historian Christian Johnson, of the American Historical Theatre in Philadelphia, will portray Lincoln’s character in period costume. Mr. Johnson has performed all over the United States and even overseas. Christian Johnson is a gifted actor who has successfully portrayed many historical characters including Patrick Henry, William Penn, and Governor William Livingston.

This tribute to our 16th President will delight the entire family.

Come and help celebrate Lincoln's 200th birthday.

Families also will enjoy Dr. Seuss-inspired activities and a special giveaway. Target is proud to work with the National Education Association to support Read Across America, the nation’s largest celebration of children’s reading. Our Partnership with the NEA Read Across America Day coincides each year with Dr. Seuss’s birthday. Target hosts in-store events that include readings by volunteers and local notables, giveaways and other fun reading-related activities.
