Featuring Sheryl Gluck, Pediatric Speech and Language Therapist. For moms and dads. Babies welcome. Information programs for parents with young children. After each program, stay for a Q&A session and meet other parents. Your young children are always welcome to attend along with an adult.
Open to all parents but advance registration is required.

This month’s Sunday Matinee is a Rewind.
We’re watching Oliver & Company. Adults MUST remain with children at all times.

Pre-School Storytimes:
Programs for babies (ages 0-12 months), toddlers (ages 12-24 months) and their parents are offered once per week and are approximately 15 minutes long.
0-12 Months: Tuesdays 10am
12-24 Months: Wednesdays 10am
Programs for pre-schoolers(ages 2-3 years old) and their parents are offered twice per week and are approximately 30 minutes long.
2-3 Year Olds: Tuesdays 11am & Wednesdays 11am
Programs for pre-kindergartners (ages 4-5 years old) alone are offered once per week and are
approximately 30 minutes long. (Parents must stay in Children’s Room area)
4-5 Year Olds: Wednesdays 2pm

Family Storytime
Tuesday, September 29th at 7pm
Thursday, September 24th at 10am & 11am
Saturday, September 26th at 11am
Family Storytime is offered 4 times per week to children of all ages (0-120) are invited. These
programs are approximately 30 minutes long.

Book Buddies
Mondays 11am and 3pm
Kids pair up with a teen for help with reading! Book Buddies meet for an hour where the kid reads to the teen and the teen helps the kid out. Sign up required - pick up a form at the Youth Services desk! Kids grades 1-5, Teens grades 6-12
This program will begin in October, but you need to sign up now!

Jamesburg Fall Festival

The Jamesburg's Fall Festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, marking a return to an annual tradition of holding a street festival in town.

The festival will be held along West Railroad Avenue, with a wide variety of activities. The Jamesburg Elks will sponsor a classic car show; Jamesburg Pizza will hold a pizza eating contest; Mendoker's Bakery and PNC Bank will run an ice cream eating competition; and the Academy of Music on Main Street in Spotswood will sponsor a Battle of the Bands. There will be more than 30 vendors, among other attractions.

Give Me a B!
Babies, books, bouncing, binkies and bibs. All are welcome at the South River Library. Ages 1-15 months with caregiver. Join us the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month at 12:30pm. Crying and feeding allowed, cooing and clapping encouraged. Each session will feature: An introductory song, chant or rhyme. A developmentally appropriate activity suggestion. A parenting tip or resource. End with a closing song, chant or rhyme plus free time to socialize and network with other parents.

Toddler Time

Join us for Toddler Time - The program is geared for young children ages 18 - 36 months with parent or caregiver.
